Program Activities
• Monitoring the immunization levels of 2 year-olds via retrospective daycare and family childcare provider record reviews audits
• Monitoring the immunization assessment to all kindergarten age children in the county
• Training of childcare providers, school and other program staff
• Record auditing and training of health care providers and staff
• Training and technical support of school staff
• Workshops and curriculum presentations to school staff
• Provision of outreach media, print and electronic for schools and health care providers
• Sponsorship of satellite immunization conferences
• Monitoring hospital immunization practices for newborns in the county
• Supplying all hospitals in the County that have labor and delivery services with immunization information for new moms
• Providing immunization clinics for children and flu immunization clinics for adults
