San Mateo County Aging and Adult Services is a division of the San Mateo County Health Services Agency. We provide a wide range of services to keep seniors, people with disabilities and dependent adults living safely and as independently as possible in the community. The Division serves as the Area Agency on Aging for planning, coordination, funding, and advocacy for seniors and disabled adults in the county. The Division is advised by the Commission on Aging and the Commission on Disabilities.
Our goal is to ensure the delivery of client-centered, compassionate, and fiscally responsible services that foster self-determination, meet professional standards and ethics, and reflect the county's statement of beliefs. We will accomplish this by offering services that provide a combination of protection, support, prevention and advocacy.
