Park Usage Definitions  Printer Friendly View

Camping

Family Camping - Day and overnight use of a site by 8 or less people.

Youth Group Camping - Day and overnight use of a site by a youth organization. The youth group must have a ratio of one adult per six youths.

Exception to youth group ratio:

Tiger Cubs (Cub Scouts, ages 4-5)
1 Child to 1 Adult
Wolf and Bears (Cub Scouts, ages 6-9)
2 Children to 1 Adult
Weblos (Cub Scouts, ages 10-12)
3 Children to 1 Adult
Boy Scouts (ages 13-16)
5 Children to 1 Adult

Day Camp - Daytime-only use of a site by a youth organization.

Horse Camp - Day and overnight use of a site with facilities for horses. Must maintain a ratio of two persons per one horse.
 

Picnicking

Family Picnicking - Daytime use of a site by a group of 20 or less. Sites filled on a drop-in basis.

Group Picnicking - Daytime use of a site by a group of 21 or more. Sites filled by reservation.
