Arrests for Domestic Violence in CA 1998 This report contains 1998 information about persons arrested for the crime of domestic violence in California. The data includes domestic violence arrests by gender, race, and age. Data by county and cities with populations over 100,000 are available in the Appendices. California Alliance Against Domestic Violence The California Alliance Against Domestic Violence is a non-profit organization and a coalition representing the needs and interests of battered women and their children throughout the state of California. Center for Domestic Violence Prevention DVP is the only agency in San Mateo County offering in-house counseling and support services to residents in our shelter program. DHS MCH Safe Network Offers emergency assistance information (hotlines), updates on domestic violence news, domestic violence services, links to other sites, and more. Domestic Violence Project of San Mateo County This site provides resources and information for domestic violence victims, research links, online journals, conference information, and more. Family Violence Prevention Fund The FVPF works to end domestic violence and help women and children whose lives are devastated by abuse, because every person has the right to live in a home free of violence. Search Institute The Search Institute is a non-profit, independent research organization promoting the raising of caring and responsible children and teenagers. The World of Children This is the website of the California Department of Social Services Children and Family Services Division. Features "California's Waiting Child Program," chatrooms for foster children and parents, research links, community resources, information of child protective services, child welfare projects, and grant information. Youth and Family Assistance (YFA) YFA is a non-profit organization providing the following services: assistance for runaway and homeless youth; substance abuse treatment and education for youth and adults; violence and abuse prevention; and youth and family support programs.
