I became a foster parent because I want to help out in my community and do whatever I can to help others because I did a lot of things wrong and I wanted to give back. Now that I have straightened my life out and gave my life over to God, I wanted to help others and kids. I helped raised my sister’s kid, so kids are my heart. It was in my heart to help out and do foster parent work and I enjoy it very much.
Summing up in one word the benefits of being a foster parent is “Love.” I love what I’m doing, I’m glad I’m doing it, and it’s by the grace of God that I had the opportunity to do it. What I would say to other who are interested in being foster parents, please, please come on out and help. Be foster parents, there’s a great big need, love in your home and if you have the heart, please please help out. Thank you.
