As of today, eight residents have tested positive for E. coli 0157. No employees have tested positive for the bacteria. Twenty additional residents and fourteen employees have been identified with gastrointestinal disturbance. Six of the nine residents hospitalized have been released and returned home to The Sequoias. There were no hospitalizations yesterday.
